Join us for a tour of Mt. Tabor AME Zion church and the nearby cemetery. You will tour the log structure which has been restored, tour the cemetery and learn about the neighborhood that was served by Mt. Tabor from 1886 until 1970. Some walking is required. Tour is held Rain or Shine.

About the event
Visit the newly restored Mt. Tabor AME Zion church and nearby cemetery. Mt. Tabor service the African American community from 1886 until 1970. Hear the history of the former church and learn about the African American Civil War veterans buried in the cemetery.
